If you’re obsessed with all-things One Tree Hill, then you’re going to want to hear this! The creator of the show is ready for a movie reunion!

During an interview with IANS, Mark Schwahn, the mastermind behind OTH, revealed that he is totally game to bring back the Tree Hill Ravens — but only if the original cast is on board, too.

“If the cast is willing to, I will absolutely do it. I love that cast and the characters. I don’t know if we will all be at the same place and same time, but I wouldn’t be the one saying no,” Schwahn told IANS about a potential movie revival of the high school drama, which ended in 2012.

While the stars of the show have moved on to other projects (Hilarie Burton is hard at work for season 2 of FOX’s Lethal Weapon, and Sophia Bush just wrapped up a four season stint on Chicago P.D., to name just a few), they’ve clearly remained close throughout the years — and regularly get together off-screen.

In fact, actors Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Stephen Colletti are all set to reunite for an annual (and sometimes bi-annual) One Tree Hill convention this October.

Whether or not their involvement in that convention and others like it means they’d be willing to actually revive their characters for a movie still remains to be seen, but some cast members, including Murray, have already indicated they’d be interested.

“Down the line they’ll probably do something, I’m sure,” Murray told People’s Choice in July 2016 about whether or not he’d be willing to reprise his role as Lucas Scott in an OTH spinoff.

Maybe this year’s convention will spark up even more conversations about a movie reunion featuring all of the stars of One Tree Hill? One can hope!
