The Big Bang Theory cast has been teasing the new season all month long, but the latest glimpse at life on set is a little more vague.
On Tuesday (Aug. 29), Kunal Nayyar posted a picture of himself with a script on the set of TBBT and from the looks of it, Raj Koothrappali, aka Nayyar’s character, is ready for his close up.
“Shoot day! Season 11 coming to a TV near you soon:) #tbbtseason11,” Nayyar captioned a selfie on set.
Okay, we know what you’re thinking, this is just a photo of Nayyar in his dressing room, sitting on a couch, and you might be right. We might not know exactly what’s going on here, but we do love seeing more from Nayyar — especially when it includes a script from the series.
While Nayyar’s most-recent post is definitely cryptic and doesn’t give away a lot about the upcoming season, he previously teased a picture of himself in character telling people to “lock up your daughters.” Nayyar’s first sneak peek at the upcoming season of TBBT — another photo of a script — was a little more telling, as it revealed a number of production details about the season 11 premiere, including the fact that it will be directed by Mark Cendrowski.
Vague sneak peeks aside, former showrunner Steve Molaro revealed toward the tail end of season 10 that he wants “Raj to be happy” in the upcoming season, so we’re expecting big things — and better teases — for the the star soon!
The Big Bang Theory returns for season 11 on September 25, 2017 on CBS.
