Kevin Jonas learned a lot from being in the Jonas Brothers, and it turns out there’s one major mantra from his days as a musician the he still lives life by to this day!

Jonas recently participated in a chat with Adobe Creative Cloud where he talked about life after the JoBros. In it, the former musician revealed that during his time making music with his brothers, they lived by one rule in the studio.

“Me and my brothers, when we were writing songs, we had a thing called ‘Dare to Suck,’” revealed Jonas. “No matter what bad line you put out into the universe in that moment, it could trigger the right thing next, and I think I’ve tried to carry that through my entire life.”

These days, the eldest Jonas Brother works as an influencer marketer. Though Jonas has found success in a career, there are challenges in the sense that not every idea in theory makes for a good idea in practice. That’s where the old Jonas Brother studio rule comes into play.

It’s amazing to hear that despite finding fame at such a young age, he’s still able to take what he learned from being in the Jonas Brothers and apply it to his new career.

Though we’re happy that Jonas has found success after music, we’re still hoping that if there ever were to be a Jonas Brothers reunion, he’d be interested in hitting the studio with brothers Nick and Joe once more!
