Kelly Clarkson is back — and this time she’s making the album she’s always wanted to make!

On Thursday (Sept. 7), Clarkson announced that her eighth (yes, eighth) studio album, Meaning of Life, is officially available for pre-order. The record itself doesn’t drop until next month (October 27, 2017), but you can listen to her first single now.

“THIS is the album I’ve always wanted to make,” Clarkson wrote alongside the cover art for her new album on social media.

The original American Idol winner also revealed that if you pre-order Meaning of Life today you will instantly be able to download “Move You,” which hasn’t been released on its own yet, and “Love So Soft,” which is the album’s first single.

From the looks of her album art, Clarkson isn’t holding back on this record, and she’s ready to channel her inner diva — and show off her pipes — and we couldn’t be more excited to hear her back on the radio.

If that isn’t enough good news for all you Clarkson fans, the singer also dropped her music video for “Love So Soft” today and it is amazing. From the moment the video begins you’ll be transported into Clarkson’s magical — and colorful — world, filled with crazy notes from the artist, fabulous locations, and bold ensembles.

For a live performance, tune in tomorrow (Sept. 8) to The Today Show to see Clarkson sing both “Love So Soft” and “Move You.” You know it’ll be worth watching!

Clarkson’s Meaning of Life officially drops on October 27, 2017.
