Sabrina Carpenter is all about answering her fans’ questions on Twitter, and now she’s hinted (well, sort of hinted) that new music could be on the way soon.
On Saturday (Sept. 16), a fan asked Carpenter whether she has “any music coming soon? Spill the tea,” and it wasn’t long before she got an answer from the singer herself. Carpenter’s response, however, was a little more cryptic than her followers may have been hoping for, but it’s still pretty promising.
“Sometimes I have to force myself to close twitter before I spill all the beans. sorry Nina,” Carpenter tweeted back at the fan — effectively shutting down rumors of new music, while sparking them at the same time.
Although Carpenter say anything about new material (or spill any tea like the fan asked!), the fact that she had to literally log off to stop herself from revealing something fans shouldn’t know about just yet leads us to think she’s definitely working on new music.
This isn’t the first time the “Why” singer has opened up about her music recently. Last week, the former Disney Channel star responded to a fan who asked her who her current dream collaborator is, revealing that it’s none other than Tove Lo, mostly because, “Sheeee a pop genius,” Carpenter said. The singer also joked about a new album title, though she has yet to officially announce a third record.
Okay Carpenter fans, it’s your turn, what do you want to know about the singer’s future album? Do you think it’ll be here soon?
