Harry Styles kicked off his first solo tour earlier this week and it sounds like things are off to a great start!
The One Direction member played the inaugural show of his world tour on Tuesday (September 19) at the Masonic Center in San Francisco, and made sure to let fans in attendance know that he’d had a blast playing for them.
“I was so excited for tonight, and now I know why,” said Styles toward the end of the night according to SFGate.com.
As far as reviews are concerned, Styles would probably rank his opening night experience as an A+, at least based on his comments to the crowd: “I would like to put it down as the perfect first night of tour,” he said.
It’s great to hear that the Dunkirk star had such a great time during his first show as it’s bound to set a good tone for the remaining dates of his tour.
Those lucky enough to score tickets to the “Sign of the Times” singer’s first show were treated not only to the 10 original tracks off of Styles’ self-titled debut album, but also to a few familiar tunes.
On top of playing his own songs, Styles also busted out some old favorites and covers.
With such a great setlist, we’re sure anyone who heads out to see Harry Styles on tour is bound to leave feeling incredibly satisfied with the experience.
Over the next few months, Styles is set to play a multitude of dates across the United States before bringing his act overseas to Europe, and capping things off with a final show in Tokyo, Japan on December 8.
