Louis Tomlinson was the solo pop star who won summer 2017 — according to a People’s Choice poll — and now we finally know what it’s like to work with him. Well, technically, Bebe Rexha knows what it’s like to work with him, and she’s spilling all the “cool” details.
Over the weekend, Rexha and Tomlinson took the stage at the iHeart Radio Festival in Las Vegas, where they put on a epic performance of their song, “Back to You,” which originally dropped in July. In an interview with Billboard ahead of her iHeart Radio Festival show with Tomlinson, Rexha opened up about what it’s really like to work with the singer.
“The second I met him, he was kind to me and my team,” Rexha told Billboard about teaming up with the British singer. “He’s just cool. I don’t feel nervous around him — he’s like a friend now, and it’s cool to work with friends,
The fact that the two singers are comfortable with each other clearly shows when they perform, no matter what the venue.
Rexha, who also worked with country duo Florida Georgia Line recently on the track “Meant To Be” — also said that she and Tomlinson are practically like family at this point.
“We shot the video together, and we’ve done a lot of TV stuff. It’s just fun,” she recalled of all of their time spent together over the past year.
The equation between the two seems to be working because these two are on fire lately, and their track together, which is Tomlinson’s first solo single, is so catchy!
