It’s been 15 years since the world was first introduced to Jason Bourne, and now Matt Damon is revealing what exactly it would take for him to reprise that role one more time.

In 2002, Damon first played Jason Bourne in The Bourne Identity, followed by 2004’s The Bourne Supremacy, and 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum. Although he did eventually jump back into the action once again with 2016’s Jason Bourne, the actor isn’t so sure that there is a need for any more films from the franchise.

“It would have to be a pretty incredible story to get us all back on the horse,” Damon told the Toronto Sun in regards to whether or not he wants another chance at a Jason Bourne film.

The good news is that although it might take an “incredible story” to entice Damon enough to go back to his trained assassin character past, the cast and crew get along great, so there is still hope of a reunion down the line.

“Look we all love working together and those movies are a lot of fun to make so we sure would be happy to do it,” he said. “If we can figure out a good story.”

It’s only been a year since Damon stepped back into Jason Bourne’s shoes, so if fans give him a little time off from the character, and continue to show interest in more from the franchise, perhaps the 46-year-old actor will rethink another film, and make it into a reality.

What do you think about another Jason Bourne film? Do you think the 2016 film should be the last?
