Bea Miller has released her third installment of songs called Chapter 3: Yellow, and there is one main thing she was trying to stay away from when she worked on this collection.
While any type of new music from Miller is good for her fans, but according to the singer, her focus was to keep these tracks from becoming “corny,” and she succeeded.
“I was determined not to make chapter 3: yellow corny,” Miller said in a press release about her new collection that was reported by JustJaredJr. “I didn’t want to say, ‘Once you face a problem and deal with it, everything will be amazing.’ That’s not how life works.”
Miller wanted her newest songs (there are three tracks to be exact) to be real, and therefore being corny wouldn’t work. Instead, she wanted her fans to know that they can work through issues with a positive outlook, hence the “yellow” vibes.
“The cycle keeps repeating itself,” she added. “But hopefully you’re better prepared to go through life with a more positive outlook.”
Miller loves music and she previously admitted that she actually sees music in color. When talking with Billboard earlier this year she revealed that the “yellow” collection would be “the happiness and just trying to figure out and learn from your mistakes in Chapter Three — in order to be the best version of yourself that you can be,” and she’s stayed true to this idea throughout the three songs.
