Wonder Woman is the ultimate superhero, so it’s no surprise that Gal Gadot, who played the fierce female in the major box office hit is so beloved. In fact, Gadot has a lot of super fans, including Kelly Clarkson.

Last week, Clarkson was honored at Variety’s Power of Women event for her work with XQ Institute, but when she took the stage to give her speech, she was distracted by Gadot, who was sitting up front, and couldn’t help but gush over how much she loves her.

“I am excited … I just saw her. I can’t. She’s Wonder Woman!” Clarkson, told the audience via People. “I feel like that’s what we were meant to look like.”

The “Love So Soft” singer went on to tell everyone how big of a deal it was to both her and her daughters (River and Remington) to have a new female character to watch on the big screen with Gadot’s Wonder Woman. She noted that her daughter River, who is three years old, loves Wonder Woman, and it’s so cute.

“It’s nice to have this bold, female figure for your girl,” she told the group. “Once she saw the little girl in Wonder Woman defend herself and all that she loved, she started acting it out, and I couldn’t have been more proud. You’re a little proud ’cause you’re like, ‘Aw, you’re cute in the Belle dress.’ But you’re more proud when she’s like [fighting evil].”

Her daughter’s fierceness after watching Wonder Woman isn’t the only time Clarkson was a fan of Gadot. When she saw her on The Tonight Show, the former American Idol winner admitted she was instantly a fan.

“I was like, ‘You know what? Screw you! B**ch got it all,’” Clarkson said. “[She’s] awesome at everything and she’s so funny. I was like ‘Ugh,’ but I love you. I can’t believe I’m looking at you.”

Clearly Clarkson is just like all of us, and got a little flustered when seeing a real-life superhero and we don’t blame her. We love Gadot and Clarkson, because they are both sassy, fierce females!
