Ed Sheeran just revealed which song he is most proud of off his most-recent album, and it’s pretty perfect.
Last month, Sheeran released “Perfect,” the latest single off his 2017 album, ÷ (or Divide). The singer explained his decision to have it available as a new single on social media.
“Perfect will be the next single from ÷ it’s the song I’m most proud of from this album. Lyric vid video up on my YouTube channel now x,” Sheeran wrote.
Although Sheeran’s ÷ came out in March, he has been slowly releasing some of the tracks as single since it debuted, allowing fans to really take in each track, which is awesome. Sheeran has been on a roll over the past few weeks promoting “Perfect” during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday (Sept. 25), where he also sang “Shape of You.”
The British singer also just added new North American tour dates so you can hear him perform this song, and all his other hits in the States come 2018 (even if you’ve already seen him sing this year). The coolest part is that Sheeran will be taking the stage in massive stadiums when he returns to North America in summer 2018, beginning with the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California (where UCLA plays), and then going all over the place, rocking out in some of the biggest venues across America.
If you’ve ever wanted to see Sheeran on tour — performing “Perfect” at its finest — these new stadium dates (there are 15 total) might be just the ticket! Sound off with your favorite Sheeran track below, and let us know if you’d think it’d be perfect to see him live.
