North America, rejoice, because Maroon 5 is headed to a concert venue near you!
On Wednesday (Oct. 25), Maroon 5 teased that big news was headed our way, and they weren’t bluffing. “This story will begin tomorrow. #REDPILLBLUESTOUR. 10.26.17,” the band tweeted before following up on their promise on Thursday morning.
The band has now officially announced that come 2018 they are headed back on the road for a North American tour in honor of their upcoming album, Red Pill Blues. The Red Pill Blues Tour is going to be jam-packed with dates and locations and feature a special guest!
“Hey, guys, Maroon 5 here. The 2018 tour is here so get excited,” Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine said in a Twitter video announcement today. “Each bundle purchase comes with our album, so redeem our album as well. See you on the road next year!”
The group’s latest tour will kick off in Tacoma, Washington on May 30, 2018 and head to California for performances in Oakland, Sacramento, and Los Angeles in June before jet-setting all over the United States. The Red Pill Blues Tour will wrap up on October 15, 2018 in Las Vegas, after four months of concerts, and fans should be really happy about this announcement.
In addition to seeing Maroon 5 perform each night, the band’s friend, Julia Michaels is headed on tour with the group, so get excited! According to the group’s announcement you can purchase tickets on November 4, 2017, which is the day after their sixth studio record, Red Pill Blues, goes on sale.
