If you’ve been wanting new music from Selena Gomez, then you’re not alone. The good news is that the 25-year-old singer is ready with more, but when will she release it is the question. Sadly, Gomez isn’t sure… at least not yet.
During an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music recently, Gomez revealed that her latest single, “Wolves” featuring Marshmello is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the tracks she has ready to go.
“To be honest, I feel like I have two albums already completed,” Gomez admitted while talking with Lowe for Apple Music.
While two albums worth of music sounds great for fans, Gomez isn’t exactly sure that she wants to put it all out there. She does, however, want to take what she’s done and create a complete album — when it’s perfect.
“I’m wanting to figure it out,” she continued. “It’s a lot sooner than I think people anticipate but I also want to call the shots. I want it to be good. I want it to be ready. I don’t want to do anything that feels forced. It’ll be soon, I definitely feel stoked about putting a piece together.”
After the former Disney Channel star released “Bad Liar” in May of this year, and most recently “Wolves” in October, it’s clear that Gomez does have a lot of material ready to be heard. Now all we need is an official release date for a full album, and we’d be ready to go!
Sound off on whether or not you’d like a new record from the singer below.
