Niall Horan might’ve just released his debut solo record (last week to be exact), but he’s been touring as a solo artist for a while now, and he’s not planning to stop anytime soon!
On Thursday (Oct, 26), Horan announced that he has added more tour dates and locations to his Flicker World Tour 2018, and the good times keep coming for fans of the Irish crooner.
“Philippines, Japan and Singapore, I am bringing my Flicker World Tour to you next year!” Horan tweeted along with an updated tour poster.
In August, the “This Town” singer began his first solo tour, Flicker Sessions 2017 in Ireland, and toured a few venues all over the world (he is currently in the States for a Beacon Theater performance next week), and it wasn’t long until the former One Direction singer announced that he would be expanding his initial tour to become a full-length world tour come 2018.
As fans already know, Horan will be heading down under to Australia and New Zealand in June of 2018, followed by a return to North America in late July through September with shows in Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and more. In early October, the “Mirrors” singer announced that he would be going to South America in early July with his special guest Maren Morris — who is touring almost all of his 2018 gigs with him.
Of course, Horan will be touring the UK and Europe as well for his Flicker World Tour 2018 route, featuring Julia Michaels as his opener, before heading anywhere else. This portion of the tour will begin in March in Dublin (his hometown), and with the Philippines, Singapore and Japan on his list, he’s pretty much achieving the goal of “world tour.”
While we don’t know who will open for the “This Town” singer on this portion of the tour, fans should be happy that Horan is now coming to the Asian countries beginning in June 2018!
