Blake Shelton is one big country music freak, and that’s great news for his fans!
On Monday, Shelton took to Twitter to announce that he and a few other amazing country artists will be joining forces for the Country Music Freaks Tour in 2018.
“Goin on tour in 2018!! Where are my Country Music Freaks at? @bretteldredge @carlypearce @TraceAdkins,” Shelton tweeted. “Pre-sale 11/3, on sale 11/10!”
In addition to tweeting about his next tour, The Voice coach shared a hilarious text-inspired exchange between all of the acts going to the road. It begins with Shelton texting to Brett Eldredge, who will be performing throughout the tour with Shelton.
The two go back and forth about life, and hunting season, before Shelton asks Eldredge to tour with him, and of course he says yes. After talking about his dog Edgar, who he wants to bring along on the road, Eldredge reveals they need another male voice for “Hillbilly Bone” and that’s when Trace Adkins comes into play.
Of course these three country music studs need a little girl power on the road to balance them out, which is why they invite Carly Pearce to join in on the fun and she gladly accepts. This funny texting convo leads to Shelton calling everyone, “a bunch of Country Music Freaks!” hence the name of the upcoming tour.
Although the dates and locations for the Country Music Freaks Tour have yet to be released, you can get ready to pre-order yours beginning November 3, 2017. Plus, you can already pre-order Shelton’s upcoming album, Texoma Shore now!
