Zayn Malik fans might not have to wait a lot longer to hear the singer’s sophomore album.

During a recent interview with Billboard, Malik opened up about his upcoming album, aka the follow up to his debut record, Mind of Mine, which was released in 2016. While the “Dusk Till Dawn” singer has yet to announce an official release date for the new record, he hinted that it’s almost ready for his fans to hear… almost.

“I think I’m like 90 percent of the way there,” Malik told Billboard in regards to the progress of his second solo venture. “But I’m still working on stuff and trying to decide what goes on the album and what comes off.”

While we don’t know when the record will be coming — here’s hoping its in the beginning of 2018 — fans will be getting a tour this time around. In fact, Malik has already teased that after the sophomore album is released, he will be ready for his first solo tour.

When discussing the vibe for his follow-up album, Malik didn’t give away too much but he did say that “the last album veered into a much more nighttime kind of thing.” This record, however, “more of a mix than that,” so get ready for some familiar sounding tracks as well as another side of Malik when the record hits.
