Carly Pearce might new to the country music scene — or at least to its fans — but she’s loving every minute of the “chaotic” lifestyle.

On Wednesday (Nov. 8), Pearce attended the 2017 County Music Awards and talked all about her debut record, which dropped in October 2017, and her life on tour with Billboard on the red carpet.

“The biggest weight [lifted off my shoulders], I can’t even tell you. I was so nervous leading up to putting it out,” Pearce told Billboard about releasing her first record this year.

The “Every Little Thing” singer revealed that although her life is jam-packed with events, touring and promoting her record Every, Little Thing, is the best thing ever.

“It’s chaotic, but chaotic in the best way, everything I’ve ever wanted to do,” she said.

Of course touring is a little bit easier since she is working with her friend Brett Young this time around. Pearce is currently on the Caliville Tour — which Young headlines — and after four years of knowing each other, she feels at ease out on the road with him.

“He is so fun, we’ve been friends for a long time,” she admitted to the publication. “We both used to play writers rounds together before either one of us had record deals or songs on the radio, so it’s full circle.”

In addition to touring with her friend Young, Pearce is already signed on for Blake Shelton’s upcoming tour, Country Music Freaks Tour in 2018!
