Throughout Jennifer Lawrence’s career, she’s had a bunch of successful box office films — just look at The Hunger Games franchise — but she’s not always so sure on how they’ll be received.

During The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Actress Roundtable this month, Lawrence sat beside five other top actresses including, Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, Allison Janney, Mary J. Blige and Saoirse Ronan, and talked about which movie she actually thought would be doomed at the box office, and brushed off by her fans. Spoiler alert: it turned out to be a hit.

“I’m not normally right — I have no instincts at all,” Lawrence told The Hollywood Reporter about being able to predict how her films will be received. “I just go in blindly, and then while I’m there, I’m like, ‘Well, who knows?’”

There was one film in particular that Lawrence assumed no one would like, and it’s definitely surprising to her fans, who came out to watch it. “When I saw Winter’s Bone, I was like, ‘Well, I better lock up shop, no one’s going to see this,’” she admitted.

Winter’s Bone, in which Lawrence played Ree, might’ve been a little different for the actress since it was a drama and about a Ozark Mountain girl, but it was a hit in terms of numbers grossing over $13 million worldwide. Plus, it was nominated for four Oscars, so clearly Lawrence isn’t the best at predicting the success of her films.

After Chastain replied with, “Really?” to Lawrence’s answer, she jokingly said that it’s mainly because she’s focused on her own imperfections.

“It’s so hard because the first time I watch anything, I’m just watching my double chin and my acne, and I’m bloated,” she said laughing, before adding, “am I the only one?”
