On Saturday (Nov. 18), Dobrev shared some very exciting news about her upcoming movie, Dog Days, in which she plays Elizabeth. The good news is that we should be seeing it on the big screen soon.
“That’s a PICTURE WRAP on @DogDaysthefilm 🎬 @KenMarino,” Dobrev wrote on Twitter along with a photo of the Dog Days‘ slate and some of the crew on set.
As for what the film is about, Dog Days follows a group of people in Los Angeles who are connected and brought together by their dogs. Sounds pretty cool, right?
In addition to Dobrev, the film stars Vanessa Hudgens, Eva Longoria, Finn Wolfhard, Thomas Lennon and Lauren Lapkus. There isn’t an official release date set for the film, which was directed by Ken Marino, but as of now it’s slated for some time in 2018!
If Dog Days does get released next year, it’ll be the second film of Dobrev’s slated to hit theaters in 2018. The second movie is Departures, which the actress has previously teased, which stars stars Tyler Hoechlin and Maisie Williams.
