The Eagles are heading back on tour next year, and they’re pulling out all the stops, especially when it comes to musical guests.
For fans of the Eagles, this is definitely good news heading into the new year, and there are a lot of varieties in which you can see the group, which was founded in 1971 and still includes original member, Don Henley.
According to the group’s site, the Eagles, which is currently made up of Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmidt, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey joining in on the tour, will play all the dates, beginning on March 14, 2018 when the tour kicks off, but their guest musicians aka the opening acts will change throughout the tour.
For example, if you are a big Jimmy Buffet fan, you can see him and the Coral Reefer Band for two April shows (in Orlando and Miami), as well as the Denver show in June and Minneapolis show later that month.
Other openers and tour mates will include James Taylor & His All-Star Band for two shows. One will be in Washington D.C. on July 26, and the other will be in Philadelphia on July 28. If your more of a country fan, The Eagles have teamed up with Chris Stapleton for a show in Dallas on June 23, so mark your calendars!
The legendary California-created band will also have a series of shows without these tour mates called an “Evening with the Eagles,” and the arenas they will be playing are very different from one another. There are shows in Chicago, Nashville, Boston, Vancouver and Toronto. Tickets will go on sale on December 1, 2017 for two shows, and the rest will go on sale on December 2, 2017.
