Attention, Walker Hayes fans: the country crooner is finally headlining his first solo tour!
On Tuesday (Dec. 5), Hayes took to social media to announce that he is officially going on tour as a headliner come 2018, and it’s very big news.
“Pumped to announce my first headlining tour, y’all help me fill it up #GoodAsGoldTour,” Hayes tweeted along with his tour poster.
The “You Broke Up With Me” singer has previously went on tour with Thomas Rhett, but now that he’s about to release his second solo album — Boom, which drops this week — it’s time for him to take center stage (literally and figuratively).
The Good As Gold Tour will kick off on February 1, 2018 in Uncasville, Connecticut and will feature 13 shows as of now. Some of the tour stops include Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and Bakersfield. The initial tour will end on April 27, 2018 in San Martin, California.
While the singer’s first headlining tour isn’t massive, Hayes has officially been on the music scene since 2011 and already has his own tour, so it’s a really big accomplishment.
“I am so humbled by folks wanting to see this live that we can do this,” Hayes said in a statement via Billboard about his first big tour.
Fans of Hayes are equally as excited to see what the 37-year-old singer has in store when he hits the road and takes the stage this spring.
