Fuller House fans are currently binge-watching season 3, but that doesn’t mean we don’t already want to see it come back for a fourth season!

In fact, based on the season 3 line from D.J. Tanner (played by Candace Cameron Bure) saying, “I wonder who else we can track down. I wonder what Urkel’s up to,” fans might be ready for the Family Matters alum to pop up if the show does get renewed.

If you haven’t watched the season 3 finale, just know that a guest star does show up from the land of TV past, and it prompts D.J.’s quote about Steve Urkel. That being said, the show’s creator isn’t opposed to having Urkel (played by Jaleel White on Family Matters) — who did a crossover on Full House back in the day — appear next season.

“I loved when Urkel was on Full House, so I’d love to see him back on Fuller House. I’m good friends with Jaleel, and we’ve talked about it. It’s a really big deal for Jaleel to bring this character back, so I’m not sure that he wants to — but if he does decide to, this would be a great way for him to reprise the character,” series creator Jeff Franklin told TVLine.

While White isn’t set to join the cast just yet — nor is a season 4 confirmed by any means — Franklin would love to see it happen, and so would the fans.

“And who knows, maybe that’ll happen. I’d love to see it. I think everybody’s curious about whatever happened to Steve Urkel, so the audience would really enjoy it,” he explained. “We have some fun ideas, so we’ll see how that shakes out.”

Fingers crossed Fuller House returns for another season and that we get the Family Matters and Full House crossover from the ‘90s once again.

Fuller House Season 3 is currently streaming on Netflix.
