If you’re a fan of Justin Timberlake then you’re going to love 2018, because it’s going to feature new music from the artist beginning this week.
On Tuesday (Jan. 2), Timberlake shared a teaser video for his upcoming album, Man of the Woods, and revealed that the record — which is his fourth solo album to date — will be coming next month. What’s even more exciting is that he’s releasing a few tracks this Friday!
“This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I’ve ever written… where I’m from, and it’s personal,” the former N’SYNC singer said in his teaser video.
The video, which was simply captioned “FRIDAY…” shows off Timberlake in his home state of Tennessee, with his wife, Jessica Biel, and their son Silas. It also gives clips of some of the music you can expect to hear and shows fans the earthy, campfire-inspired vibes you can look forward to when the album drops.
“My man is too good…” Biel shared on Twitter after Timberlake announced the new record and the fact that a few songs are coming this Friday, and we couldn’t agree more.
In addition to seeing both Timberlake and Biel’s excitement about the project on social media, the “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” singer shared two more posts teasing the album. On Tuesday, he shared the album art for the record, as well as the video teaser.
The album art features Timberlake standing in the woods wearing a suit. The lower half of his body on the other hand is dressed in a flannel shirt and jeans, showing off both sides of himself. That isn’t all he’s given fans to freak out about this week however… there’s more.
Last but certainly not least, Timberlake shared on Wednesday (Jan. 3) that there are four songs from the album coming out this week, beginning with a track called, “Filthy,” which will be available for your listening pleasure at midnight (EST) on Friday the 5th, so get ready! And there will another new single dropping each week for 3 weeks starting on January 18th, and we can hardly wait.
Man of the Woods drops on February 2, 2018.
