Priyanka Chopra might’ve rang in the new year with her family in London, but now that it’s 2018, she’s ready to get back to work on Quantico, which means she’s officially back in New York City!

On Wednesday (Jan. 3), Chopra, who plays Alex Parish on the ABC series, shared a picture with her fans on an airplane confirming that Quantico is filming once again, and she’s totally ready for it… even if it required an early wakeup call.

“And I’m back.. 3 am landings.. 6 am shoots.. a story in the life of.. me.. #NYC ❤️❄️🌨#planefies,” Chopra captioned her plane selfie, or her “planfies” as she calls it.

Although Chopra has yet to post a picture from set, she is at work already, which means fans should be getting a sneak peak from the new season of Quantico sooner rather than later. With 6 a.m. shooting times, we can’t blame Chopra for not being online and keeping her fans up to date with her character, but we can get excited that Quantico is back in action.

As fans already know, the current season that the India native is filming will be a part of a shorter third season. Back in June it was announced that Quantico would be getting picked up for at least one more season, but it would be shorter than the previous two (with only 13 episodes).

There will also be a lot of casting changes this season, but Chopra and her costars Jake McLaughlin and Johanna Braddy are set to return, along with a new character, ex-FBI agent Jocelyn Turner, who will be played by Marlee Matlin.

Since it’s been so long since fans have seen a new episode of the drama — the last episode aired in May 2017 — any new episodes are very welcome, even if there are only half as many as usual. Though many fans believe 13 episodes are not enough for the FBI-focused show, we are excited for what’s in store for the next season of this undeniable fan-favorite series.

Quantico is set to return for its final season in 2018.
