Vanessa Hudgens is back in the studio, and it’s music to our ears!

Over the weekend, the High School Musical alum shared a few messages on social media telling her fans that she is in fact working on new music. On both Saturday and Sunday, Hudgens shared pictures from the studio, and we’re so ready to hear what she’s working on.

“In the studio with @phantoms 😍🎉🎤🎧🎼,” Hudgens tweeted on Saturday.

Based on her caption, we know that Hudgens isn’t working alone… at least on this track. Instead, she has teamed up with the electronic pop duo Phantoms, and they are serious about getting to work. On Sunday (Jan. 14), the Grease Live! star shared another sneak peek at what it’s like to work with the Phantoms and from the looks of it, it’s fun and games, and of course some hard work.

“Another day, another session 😉🎤🎧🧚🏼♀@phantoms,” she wrote on a fun Boomerang with the groups two members Kyle Kaplan and Vinnie Pergola.

While we don’t know much about the song these three are working on, the Phantoms duo teased that their new track would be coming soon. “Phantoms x @VanessaHudgens coming soooooon,” they captioned a cool inside the recording studio snap.

For Hudgens this track will mark the second song she’s collaborated on in the past year. In 2017, she was featured on Shawn Hook’s duet, “Reminding Me,” and it was the first time Hudgens had released any new songs — minus her soundtrack work on Grease Live! — since her 2008 album Identified. After this duet, we are definitely in need of a full Hudgens record, complete with a few solo singles to start!
