Niall Horan has tasted the success of a solo career, but would he ever want to become a screen star? According to Horan himself, it’s not likely.
While we were all sleeping, Horan joined Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist in England as their Friday co-host for the talkSPORT Sports Breakfast show, and in addition to talking about sports (it’s in the talk show’s title, so he clearly talked about the topic), Horan opened up about music, and acting.
“Oh, no. I wouldn’t have the patience for that I don’t think,” Horan quickly replied when asked on the Sports Breakfast show whether or not he’d be interested in going into acting at some point. “No. Too fidgety.”
Unlike his former band mate Harry Styles, who starred in Dunkirk last year, Horan is not a fan of switching over to acting. He does, however, have a side business managing young golfers, but music has always been his main focus.
While we know that Horan is heading back on tour soon, the Irish singer, who splits his time between London, Los Angeles and Ireland, admitted he’s happy to be “chilling out” right now because when it comes down to it the hardest thing about his job is all the non-stop traveling.
“I suppose it’s the traveling and the being away from home that’s the hardest part. There’s a lot of traveling that goes into it,” the “Slow Hands” singer told the radio hosts. “You’re constantly just jet-lagged and then you have to put in a full day’s work.”
Luckily for fans, even though that “full day’s work” won’t include time on a movie set – at least not currently – Horan is more than willing to travel for his work and his fans, which is obvious based on the fact that he is going back on tour beginning in March in Ireland.
