Super Bowl LII is right around the corner, and you know what that means… puppies! Okay, that might not be what you think about when you think of a football game, but when it comes to Jimmy Fallon, that’s always on his mind.
On Wednesday (Jan. 31), Fallon kept up his amazing tradition of having puppies predict who will win the Super Bowl on The Tonight Show, and we are obsessed. As usual, Fallon has rules to his puppy prediction party, which are “no butt-sniffing” and “no colluding.”
Even if you’re not a fan of football or you don’t care who wins this year’s Super Bowl – it’s between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles – watching The Tonight Show’s puppy predictions is almost as cute as the Puppy Bowl.
So, what happened when 11 little white Labradors, with names like Ron Bell, Lisa Armstrong, Mary Kennedy, Ted Mooney and Angie Griffin, were let free to pick their food bowls – aka released to run to food bowls with the teams’ names on them? There was a puppy pileup!
The cute little dogs all seemed to head to the New England Patriots’ bowl of puppy chow, which is great news for fans of Tom Brady and his great team. Philadelphia fans however shouldn’t panic, because these puppies don’t always get it right.
Who do you think will take home the Super Bowl LII trophy? Tune into the big game on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. PT on NBC to see if the puppies got it right.
