The wait is finally over—well, the wait for the trailer, that is—because we finally have our first look at the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff series, Station 19!
After months of anticipation, the creators of Grey’s Anatomy and Shondaland finally released its full-length trailer for Station 19 on Thursday (Feb. 1), and let’s just say that even though it’s not Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital there is plenty of danger and drama to go around.
In the teaser we meet the fire fighters of Station 19 in Seattle, which include Grey’s alum Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George). As we go “three blocks down and into the fire” there is sure to be heat — from both the fire, and of course sexual tension — and drama as the Seattle fire fighters save lives and try to stay afloat.
Just like their Grey’s counterparts, these characters are like family, and some of them are literal family. The show’s leading lady, Andy Herrera (played by Jaina Lee Ortiz) must rise up as the new leader of Station 19 after her father, Captain Pruitt Herrera (played by Miguel Sandoval) has an accident while out on a call.
When you mix family with danger and achieving your dream job, you know things will get messy, but when it comes to a show from Shonda Rhimes, would you want it any other way?
Check out the trailer for the upcoming drama above and let us know if you’ll be jumping into the fire when the show begins this spring.
Station 19 begins on Thursday, March 22, 2018 with a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. on ABC.
