Maren Morris is giving fans exactly what they want when it comes to the release of the next single off her album, Hero.

After “I Could Use a Love Song” was such a big hit as a single Morris explained that she focused on “Rich” for fourth single off her debut record, mainly because her fans wanted it that way.

“‘Rich’ feels like the perfect, confident, laugh-the-B.S.-off-with-your-friends kind of song to go into spring with,” Morris told CMT about her latest single choice. “More importantly, ‘Rich’ is the first time we’ve really let fans pick the single, so it was a no-brainer to make it my final single from Hero.”

The singer opened up about how she actually knew her fans wanted “Rich” to be the next single saying it had to do with how well everyone knew the lyrics while out on tour.

“I remember from the first headline tour I did over a year ago, everyone in the crowd was singing the chorus so loud that I was completely stunned,” she explained. “From the Bowery in New York City to Shepherds Bush Empire in London, my fans grabbed ahold of ‘Rich’ and never let go, so I wanted my debut album to go out with a bang! This is for them.”

“Rich” does have some catchy lyrics like, so we’re not totally surprised that this song made it onto Morris’ singles list. The best part is that Morris is actually listening to her fans, and it makes us love her even more.
