Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini’s upcoming comedy finally has a release date, so get your calendars out, because this fall is going to be all about these two best friends joining forces on the big screen.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the duo’s upcoming venture, Second Act, will be coming out on November 21, 2018, and we’re predicting it’s going to be hilarious from start to finish.
The romantic comedy focuses on a big box store employee (think Walmart) named Maya (played by Lopez), who decide to reinvent herself and prove to not only herself, but all of Madison Avenue that she has smarts… even if she didn’t go to college.
Her fellow big box worker Joan is played by Remini, who is Lopez’s best friend in real life. The film also stars This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia and High School Musical alum Vanessa Hudgens.
Even though the film isn’t set to premiere until November, the cast has already wrapped filming, according to their social media accounts. Plus, Lopez, Remini and Hudgens have posted pictures from filming, and it looks like they had a blast working on this movie.
“When work isn’t work cause you get to hang with the ultimate babe @jlo #secondact,” Hudgens captioned a sweet on-set photo back in December.
Remini on the other hand posted a funny video of Lopez impersonating her, and we can’t stop laughing. If the cast brings these on-set moments to life in the movie then it’s bound to be a hit.
Second Act hits theaters on November 21, 2018.
