The Big Bang Theory will be returning in March with a slew of new episodes and a major guest star.
According to CBS, Bill Gates will star on an episode next month. The nerd herd are fans of any, and all, powerful, smart, tech masterminds, so it seems only fitting that Gates would eventually make his way onto an episode of the hit CBS comedy.
As for who the billionaire tech guru and founder of Microsoft will play, the network revealed he will be showing up as himself, and we couldn’t imagine it any other way.
On Wednesday (Feb. 20), CBS announced the guest star and gave a little teaser of how he will fit into the group saying that when Penny (Kaley Cuoco) hosts Gates at work, the guys will do everything they can think of to meet him. Sounds about right, wouldn’t you say?
Gates is the latest super star to join The Big Bang Theory family and after 11 seasons on air it’s about time. He joins the likes of Bob Newhart (as Professor Proton), Buzz Aldrin (as himself), George Takei (as himself), Stan Lee (as himself), Stephen Hawking (as himself), and so many more brilliant and iconic minds.
While we don’t have the exact date for Gates’ episode of TBBT, we do know it’ll be sometime in March, so definitely keep an eye out. Now that Gates is going to guest star, we’d like to know which smart mind you’d like to see on the comedy next. Sound off in the comments below!
The Big Bang Theory returns on March 1, 2018 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
