Jennifer Lawrence is a powerhouse, who seems to be good at everything she does, so why not start her own TV network? Well, that might be a reality for Lawrence someday, and she already has a TV show idea to kick it off.
During an interview with Vanity Fair as the cover star for its March 2018 issue, the Kentucky native discussed her current career and upcoming film Red Sparrow, before diving into her love of reality TV and her goal of becoming a TV mogul in the future. As for what type of reality show she’d want to make? Lawrence has all the details figured out.
“I’m happy you asked because I have actually been toying with the idea of becoming a billionaire and I’d like to start my own TV network,” Lawrence told Vanity Fair when asked what type of reality series she’d make if given the chance.
The Oscar-winning actress isn’t joking about starting her own TV network, and having it be all about the reality genre is exactly what she wants. She is a major fan of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Real Housewives, so of course she’d want to follow in that style.
“I am pretty much a television professional at this point. And I have a brilliant idea for a reality show called Breakup Island,” she explained. “I can’t tell you the details, but there are very distinct cast members like The Bachelor, between the ages of 20 and 50, who you stay with and care about.”
Clearly, Lawrence has thought this through and although she wasn’t willing to divulge more on Breakup Island she did add, “I really think it’s going to happen.” With so much success as an actress so far, we can definitely see her being successful as a TV creator in the future as well.
